I'm using MC8.9.0 with the 002 Rack. Everything works as it should except that when I exit MC, I have to power cycle the 002 in order to use it again. I get the impression that MC doesn't release it properly. After MC exits, the 1394 light stays off. Any one else with this setup seeing the same issue?
By the way, I don't what that symbol is, in the timeline window, that shows you the 002 is connected and locked. It's unreadable. It used to be a very easty to see '002' in green when it was locked but now it looks like random pixels that you have to hover over with the mouse in order to know what they are.
