saving color corrected video tracks before re-editing

Excuse the very amateur approach, but I have just shot a local village pantomime on three cameras none of which match very well.  In addition each scene in the panto uses coloured light effects (!) so no standard to fix to throughout.

I want to intercut the three cameras using multicam but if I do that first it seems I then need to colour correct each little segment of shot seperately afterwards.  The question is can I apply colour correction to the original shots and then save them (mixdown?) before using them as the source in a multicam operation?

Hope this makes sense - thanks for any help.

Derek
