We thought the issue was with H264 but we have now been received more creative Vendor cuts from Premiere, Final Cut, and Resolve stations. No Timecode or relink issues.... The road keeps leading us back to AVID, and an issue when AMA H264 Files.
All of the vendors we work on Avid as well as our team here when H264 "Daily" files are AMA'd into a project the EMB timecode will not match the visual, if you bring that H264 file into any of the apps I mentioned above along with QT all the others we tested. The Timecode is match visually and EMB.
It is far to time consuming to Transcode using a 3rd party to create proper MXF for the AVID. Be great if tech support can look into this further and try to find away to crrect this problem.
