Flip-Flop all footage for editing

I had the following problem with a project last week and I'm curious if there is a solution:

All the footage was filmed "flip-flopped". So I had to made sequences out of every master clip and apply a Flip Flop fx.

I tried AutoSync etc. to get (sub)clips instead of my sequences but nothing worked - because of the fx.

At the end I edited with these sequences or made one sequence with a FlipFlop on V4 an put all relevant clips in there. But I don't like both methods.

Is there a better way to manage this? (The cameraman told me that this is "really no problem in Premiere, only one click.")

Or is qt ref export and import again the only option?
