I need to make a lot of frame grabs from a current project. I have been exporting as TIFF, single frames as defined by IN/OUT points onm the source viewer. Although this is slow and repetitive, it has worked flawless for several sessions.
Until today -
I powered up the system and went in to the current project to continue grabbing.
The first frame I selected as export to filæe opened the usual windows dialogue box, offering the correct destination but only as the format afe. I selected all fiels and could see the other tifs, set a name for my file as xxx.tiff and pressed save - then the system made a 60Mb afe file of the whole project, locked up and crashed.
Several attempts - same result - with a reboot inbetween.
I have check in mjy settings menu that the Export to Tiff filter as a tick next to it.
I have checked that the recipe for the Export to Tiff is Graphic, Tiff format, as required
I try again, ensuring that the sourcer viewer is "live" (I haven't accidently selected the timeline)
Now the export to file option is greyed out, and will no reappear unless I click on the Export to TIFF setting (regardless opf the tick next to it still being there.
I have spent six hours trying to troybleshoot this problem - just to grab a single frame
Any suggestions out there that could make my day?
