I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this.
I think Avid should learn a lesson from Adobe. Whenever Adobe comes out with a new feature, they have a couple second video announcing the new feature on the sign in page and then give you the option to learn more about that new feature. it's great because even if we don't plan on using that feature right away, we learn what it is called and know what it does. With Avid, the interface changes, all my favorite things are moved around and I have no clue how to use the new tools or even what they are called, so I can't look up how to use them. Like for example, the bin layout changed a couple years ago. I have found it frustrating and random ever since. I only just now found out that part of the system was called "Bin containers" so I looked it up and found out that dragging by the name (counterintuitive) rather than the tab is necessary to put things where they should be. All that took was 5 seconds to learn and it's something that has made me frustrated for that last few years.
If Avid doesn't want to make it somthing in the sign in window, maybe links to the videos could be in the "new bug fixes document" Something.. anywhere. email us.... whatever. You make video and post them on youtube, why not tell actual users about them?
