I've been building a new edit client, I'm using a HP Z8 with a DNxIQ with a Realtek audio driver and Teradici.
The way I have it setup, the XLR's from the DNxIQ get's fed back into the Z8 'Line In' which and SDI O/P gets fed into the router.
No matter what happens the playback is absolutely fine in the router, it's when I listen to the audio locally which proves a problem.
I launched the Z8 and I can play audio from a file on the desktop and everything seems fine. It's when I launch Media Composer and try to play a file which is when it comes out very choppy/distorted.
I've re-installed and tried other versions of the audio drivers, Media Composer and DNxIQ and it's all coming back the same.
The desktop audio settings are setup the same way as all of the other edit clients I have running successfully which I will attached images of them.
When I remove the disk and replace it with an existing build disk it works fine which tells me all cables and HW are working as expected.
Any suggestions?
