HEVC

I may need to use an iPhone App which can record a continuous 4K-sized 24p movie (2.5 hours or more) using HEVC at choice of high bitrates. 

Is it as good quality or better than H264, (which I see uses much more GB/minute)?

Is there ANY way to get HEVC file to LINK on a WIN7 PC using v8.8.4?

If I do a Legacy Import in 4K sized Project, will that work? (I Haven’t tried it yet, because it is very slow on a 15 minute test clip and I can’t tie up my system at the moment).
