Present in 2018.12.1 on OSX High Sierra.
‘Clip name bug’: AMA linking of a file that is deep within a folder structure results in a clip name of "/" - I suspect related to illegal characters used in folder naming - fixed by copying source file name from the bin column to the name column.
‘Multiple wavs link as one bug’: Possibly related, I linked to several (audio network) wavs but only 1 file linked. Any attempt to link to any of the files results in just one file being linked. Noticed in media browser that the files report different sizes but reports same durations.
‘Incorrect AMA source audio track played back bug’: (on PC & Mac since at least 2018.5). My linked source tracks were cut into the same timeline track (so host was on A1, interviewees on A2 and boom on A3). Occasionally I’d cut the wrong track from the room tone subclip in to the sequence, so I’d have A3 boom followed by A1 host lav. This resulted in INCORRECT source track being played back from the next clip in timeline (the A1 host clip source would actually play A3 boom source). Fix was to add a 1 frame dissolve. Any abutted content from different tracks, without a transition, will play incorrect track following from first instance. TO REPLICATE - download https://preview.tinyurl.com/yxlzv5mg and link to file (as dual mono). Edit source A1 into a fresh timeline and immediately add source A2 after. Waveform will be correct but playback will be source A1 twice ("Left, Left" instead of "Left, Right").
‘Grouped AMA files are vertically stretched bug’: (200%, top of raster shown) when loaded (or match framed) to source monitor. Sources were 25P, modified to be interpolated, in a 50i project. Have also seen stretching in timeline - fix was to switch project to 25P and back. (Seen on Mac & PC)
