- Dupe Detection did not work with Media files that did not have a tape name.

ReadMe: The ReadMe will be posted to the Knowledge Base “ Media Composer 8.x Documentation” page.
OS: The following lists the qualified Operating Systems. Depending upon your hardware the qualified Operating Systems are:
- Windows v7 64-bit SP1(Professional)
- Windows v8.1 (Professional and Enterprise),
- Windows 10 64-bit (Professional and Enterprise)
Interplay: Media Composer v8.7 requires an Interplay 3.7 client to work with Interplay. Any Media Composer Interplay customer should refrain from upgrading to MC 8.7 until Interplay 3.7 is released and available. Once 3.7 is released, we are supporting MC 8.7 with a 3.7 Interplay client installed on Interplay 3.7 through 3.2 workgroups.
Avid Artist DNxIO Driver Support: Desktop Video v10.8 is supported with this release of the editing application.
Important: MC v8.7 now allows for matchframing matte keys and title media. However, this will only apply to matte keys and titles placed into timelines in v8.7 and forward. Old titles and keys will not matchframe back (the metadata simply isn’t there in your sequences). You can edit old titles in the timeline (or Recreate Titles) and those should matchback, but the only way to matchback old matte keys is to recut them into a sequence in 8.7.
